The Brechin 1888 names are taken from a list of guests at the Golden Wedding Anniversary celebrations of David Scott and his wife Mary Ann (Monro). You can read more about the Scott family in Brechin in the Genealogy section of our site.
The Charles Kerr passenger list is from a voyage taken from Gravesend, near London, to Launceston in Tasmania, in 1835. All were free emigrants, some on assisted passage, and most were women.
The Tasmanian names from the 1830s were taken from James Backhouses A Narrative of a Visit to the Australian Colonies.
The Wisconsin and Minnesota addresses from the 1940s are taken from an address book originally belonging to Glory Scott.
